Moving into My New Place

Posted on 17 December 2013 under Uncategorized

I just got the lease signed on the house I am renting. A friend of mine showed it to me and it belongs to a little church about six or seven blocks from where I am working right now. In fact there is a little trail through the woods that makes it about one and three quarter miles walking distance to the front door of my office building. One of the neighborhood kids showed me after I saw him cutting through the woods behind the house. I just got started looking for deals on internet bundles and that sort of thing. I need a few things, like a couch for instance. I have an old air mattress that I am using right now, but that is pretty annoying to be completely honest about it. That thing just does not hold air for very long, so you have to fill it back up all of the time. I do have a pretty nice tv. I got a great deal on it off of the Internet and I have pretty much everything that I really need aside from a couch.

It is really pretty bare right at this moment, but there is not much wrong with that. I have an old fridge, an oven, a microwave, a washer and a dryer and a cooktop. There is not a dishwasher, but of course it is just me living there and on the weekends my girlfriend comes home from college and stays with me. It would be perfect for two people if I had a bit more furniture and a couple of homey touches to make it look more like people live here. For now it does not quite look like there is a real person in residence. Instead it looks like I am still moving in.
